A Life-Changing Productivity Tip
Advice doesn’t have to be long and convoluted to be effective it is most often the short and sweet messages that are the easiest to digest and take with you.
So I will impart to you this one simple tip to improve your productivity:
Have separate spaces for different tasks.
That’s it. Just that simple.
Now why do I say this.
Well let’s first take a step back and think about your daily routine for a minute and I will compare it to mine and I am sure you will understand what I mean.
I am currently in a studio apartment with a bed, a small desk, and a sofa.
In the almost 3 weeks that I have lived here. I have done almost zero work on myself or a project.
It has become almost comical to me that I will go from my bed to the sofa to watch YouTube, then open my laptop on the sofa and dabble with ideas but not put in the work.
I realise that about myself after about 1 hour and will then move to the desk, still in my pyjamas, and will just continue to now fiddle with a different task of no consequence.
More time will pass, I will get hungry and will have lunch before sitting in bed with my laptop and fiddling again.
