A Not So Subtle Sign That You’re Passionate About Writing

I have a 2022 Macbook. I treat my items well and I have been happy with their performance.

That being said I find that the past hour or so the keys on the keyboard are noticeably noisier than usual.

They seem to have quite a vicious sound about them.

Each stroke that I make is a clear and audible hitting sound.

I thought that my keyboard might be suffering from some problems.

Until I realized it was me.

I am taking a moment away from what I was working on to write this as I had found myself so purposefully and intensely writing on my laptop that I went from fast gentle keystrokes to sharp and abrupt lashings on the keyboard.

I only noticed as such when the deafening silence provided by my headphones was outshone by this heavy sound from the keys.

I would like to think that this occurrence was purely out of my passion for the project that I am working on but in time I will take note of this to investigate whether there has been a correlation between the intensity of my keystrokes and the passion that I have for the task at hand.

It may also be interesting to track how the work is received concerning that passion level.

I would assume like many of you would suspect and have experienced also. With the increase in passion comes the increase in love for the work and the rawness of the results on the page.

I look forward to tracking this in the future.
