Yesterday I wrote this article about “I Tried Not Caring About My Sleep For 7 Days And I Feel Great”

I thought that the article for me personally was written well at the time but it didn’t sit well with me as I read it over a few hours late.

I have developed the instinct when I write in this setting to merely write and post. I make some minor amendments and click the publish button. I am doing this currently to avoid my sense of analysis paralysis that consistently terrorises me as I try and create.

My way that I have found to overcome this ‘resistance’ as Steven Pressfield would categorise is to be as action orientated as possible rather than be slow and deliberate.

To me, at this stage in my life it is serving me well.

I do aim however to transition from this style and swing the pendulum to a more neutral position between being action orientated to careful and deliberate.

Below is a rewritten version of my sleep experiment article that i wrote yesterday. I made a clear attempt to use less repetition, be more concise, increase engaging language, providing actionable advice and creating a clear structure.
