In the realm of entrepreneurship, there’s a common misconception that only high-tech, scalable startups are worth the investment and effort. It is more than a misconception, it’s the hope. No young entrepreneurial person wants to clean people's septic tanks and scale that service to a multimillion-dollar business built on the backs of hard outdoor labour. Instead, the sexy option is to be behind a computer at any hour of the day, anywhere in the world and create a product that will be sold and used digitally as you sit back and count your millions sipping a Pina colada.

However, many “less sexy” businesses — those in industries often overlooked due to their perceived lack of glamour — consistently yield high profitability and stable success. What if you could trade the short-term chance at glamour for the long-term certainty.
