My Hesitation Over Applying For A Full-Time Job

18 days have passed since I last wrote about my predicament with regard to my visa in Vietnam.

In that time I have maintained by budgeting to ensure that I have enough money to sustain myself without the need for outside money (whether that be from family, friends, or employment) I have worked on developing connections with other members of the community surrounding me to make acquaintances and a network along with also trying to establish a source of digital income to sustain my existence beyond my remaining 51 days.

Although I remain hopeful, I am unlikely to generate enough digital income in the next 51 days to sustain my activities beyond my visa expiration.

As such I have come to a point that I wish to attempt to address now rather than prolong.

Do I seek 9–5 employment?

Now I may be making this seem quite doom and gloom however I know within myself that working in those environments in the past had a large impact on my capacity to strive for more beyond that job.

For context, before I commenced this journey 39 days ago I worked for 2 years in a retail position full time along with constant overtime. During this time including travel, I spent approximately 55 hours a week working. This coupled with the average 6 hours of nightly…
