The Simplicity Of Connecting The Dots Beyond The Audience Of 1.
All to often I begin writing and the need to come up with a world-changing, mind-melting idea is what I think has to emerge.
Sometimes just being a humble sounding board or curator of ideas can be just as powerful to the reader.
Too often we forget that our friends and family are our first audience. They are the people that we speak to the most, we often verbalise ideas to them before they hit the page.
It is always our friends and family who come to us for a shoulder to cry on or ask to lend a pair of ears to hear about their problems and ask for advice.
We often listen to come and provide advice that they had possibly been the providers of us in the past.
This reciprocal relationship of listening and sharing is paramount to the human condition and has now in the digital age been given the chance to expand and flourish to all new scales.
Yet too often we forget about the humble beginnings of these conversations being between you and another, listening to each others qualms and exchanging ideas on how to solve the problem.
It is no different now except for the medium that the advice is being shared too.
